One afternoon we took Asher to the Discovery Museum, she had such fun playing with all the fun activity areas there. We drove cars...

Grocery shopped....

Cooked in the cutest little kitchen

played with the balls

Asher rode a horse at the food court too.
We spent one evening at Temple square. Kelly and Mike had dinner at the Garden Room in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building that night, while Melissa and I were at Asher's dance rehersal. We met them later and walked (in 2 degree weather) to temple square from our hotel. The grounds were beautiful with lights everywhere. We were so cold that we went to have hot chocolate afterwards to warm up.

Thursday night Kelly, Mike and I rushed from SLC to Alpine to watch Asher in her first dance recital. We were stuck in traffic and prayed that it would not start on time. But we made it even after almost hitting a couple of deer that ran out right in front of us! The dance was so cute and she did so well. She knew just what to do and when to do it.

Mike had to go home on Friday due to his trip being for work, he had to travel during business hours. So Kelly and my sister Marilyn picked me up and we drove to Ogden for my sister Karen's graduation from Weber State. It was a very nice ceremony and I even enjoyed the speakers! After the graduation we went to Mom and Dad's for a quick visit. Mom was in good spirits and we talked for a few minutes. Dad was happy to have some company and we were able to take him our Christmas gifts. We stopped by Karen's house to visit for awhile and celebrate both her graduation and her Melissa's birthday. I spent that evening with Kelly and Luke and then flew home on Saturday. Here is all of Karen's family...
