quilt

I never have liked to quilt. It always seamed too time consuming to me. (Go figure, I love to sew beads and pearls on dresses) But after seeing the quilts that Melissa has made and helping Leslie with hers, I thought I would try making this one. Melissa had made one like it too. It is so easy it only took about 1 1/2 hours to make! You layer the front and back with the batting in the middle and then sew strips of fabric right on top and you leave the edges raw so they fray! As you sew the strips on, it does the quilting for you. I think it turned out good for my first try. What do you think Melissa?
