Memorial Day Weekend

We had a very nice Memorial Day. Mike and I, Lauren and Garn, and Kelly all traveled to Utah for the long weekend. Mike and I were able to leave early Friday morning, giving us time to go play with Asher and Jaman. We also went to dinner with Melissa and family at Los Hermanos in Lindon. (yummy) We later met up with Lauren, Garn and Kelly in Lehi where we were staying.

The next day we spent some of the morning in Salt Lake visiting the Conference Center. We then drove to Mom and Dad's in Roy and spent a couple of hours visiting with them. Mom looked good but did not have too much to say. It was really good to see her though.

From there we went to Aunt Ruth's 87th birthday party. She was very surprised to see us all there. It was fun getting to see all three of my sisters there. (where were my brothers?) From there we went to Linquist Cemetery to put flowers on Aunt Velma and Uncle Cecil's graves for Memorial Day.

We tried to see the new Indiana Jones movie at two different theaters but it was sold out at both. We went back to the house and watched "27 Dresses". Cute movie.

Sunday we went to church with Melissa and Curry and had a wonderful dinner at their house. We played more with the kids, and headed back to the house to get some much needed sleep.

Monday morning we met at IHOP for breakfast and then made the long drive home.
Here are a few pictures to highlight the trip.
