Lauren and Garn recently got a puppy named Smokey. (His brother was Bandit, true but funny) They came to watch the Sunday afternoon session of Conference with us and have dinner and asked if they could bring Smokey with them. We all know what kind of an animal lover I am but I said yes. He was very good and Lauren and Garn did their pooper scooper duties in the backyard to keep me happy. Lauren doesn't have grass yet at their house so Smokey was in heaven playing and laying in the grass. He loved running back and forth in a bigger new place. He tired himself out and fell asleep right outside our glass door. Mike enjoyed having the little guy here too. Yes, the guy with the shaved head is Garn. Garn started the Police Academy about 1 month ago. He has been working very hard and getting in great shape, due to all the running and exercises they do. He was studying for an upcoming test in this picture.
