Mike, Melissa and Asher made a trip to Ohio this weekend. Melissa wanted to go visit her grandparents and asked Mike to go with her and to help with Asher. After wondering if Mike's American Airline flight would be flying or grounded, he did make it with a few delays and a change of planes. Melissa missed her flight due to being stuck in traffic and was able to get on another flight. There was an angel woman who gave up her first class seat to Melissa so she would have more room for Asher! They were able to see most all of the Freitag clan while there. I will be picking Mike up in a little over an hour. Last I looked, his plane was over Colorado. (Isn't technology fun?)
So while he was gone, Leslie and I and a friend of mine made a trip to St. George. We dropped my friend off at her daughter's house and Leslie and I went shopping at our favorite store, Tai Pan. We found wonderfully fun things and then went to lunch at the equally wonderful Cafe Rio, picked up my friend and drove home in time to rest up before stake conference!
I took a vacation from cooking this weekend too. It will be hard to get back to a regular schedule again tomorrow.
