I was thinking about you a lot this week sad that you were home alone. I'm sure you were excited to see dad when he got home. That's crazy you only have 3 weeks left before Shelby's wedding. What all are you doing for it? Lindzie Kundle got baptized??? Oh my goodness, yes I do know her I was friends with her for a while. She is such a cute girl! If you see her please tell her I said hello and I am so excited for her. That is so exciting to hear I can't believe it. It is so great a testimony that the Gospel truly is for everyone! That is why we need to share it with everyone we come in contact with, because we don't know who is and who isn't ready for it. The Lord is the only judge of that. How did she start taking the lessons do you know? Were you able to go to the Baptism? Did Justin get to go? Finding Joy is a great topic for conference, that is exciting, you'll have to send some notes about it. I think that is something we can all work on! =) Justin didn't say anything in his email this week about his Great Grandma, but he did in his email the week prior, that is so sad. I feel bad for their family, but she will be in a better place and it might be for the best for the family. Sorry pday got changed to wednesday because of zone conference yesterday as I talked about in dad's email. IT was amazing! I can't wait to tell you more about it, not much time here. I will be calling at 4 my time which is 2 your time on Sunday is that okay?? I hope so =) I love you so much and I am so excited to get to talk to you and dad and Justin! It will be a great day! Happy Mother's day!! You present might be a little late...I'm sorry I hope it's not, but if it is I appologize! I hope the rest of your week goes well! Love, Leslie
Hi daddy! It was exciting to hear from you as always! It sounds like you had a great time in SLC. Fun that you were able to spend so much time with Melissa, Kelly, Luke and the kids. That's funny that Asher wanted you to bring her to work. Why does she call Alpine a Pineapple?? She is so silly! I miss her. Melissa said she was in Heaven while you were there and had a lot of fun with you. How did you like Melissa's house? She sent me a picture it looks and sounds like it's really nice. That is exciting that Jaman is doing so well with his school work and his eye is getting better. That is so great! Kelly sent me a picture of her with her baby belly it is so exciting. That's awesome you were able to get to see the Joseph Smith movie! It is such a powerful movie and definitely strengthens and reaffirms your testimony of him and the restoration! I got to have that same reaffirming testimony yesterday! We got to go to the Nauvoo Temple and Carthage, 70's hall, Pioneer cemetary, Joseph, Emma and Hyrmm's graves, Trail of Hope and a few other places yesterday. It was amazing! The Spirit was so strong and President Erickson is amazing, everything he said and everytime he bore his testimony it was like he was speaking directly to me, everything that I specifically needed to hear. It was our Zone conference so we had 3 zone's yesterday and the other two are going tomorrow. At the 70's hall President Erickson called on a few missionaries to bare their testimonies and I had the priviledge of doing that. What a neat experience to be able to stand and bare my testimony at what President Erickson kept refering to as the first MTC. It was such a sacred experience the whole day it was really great. It was really cool to be able to see all of the missionaries in the Celestial room together. They asked us not to talk but to go around and shake each other's hands and look each other in the eyes and see them as we would really in Heaven. So each time someone came in we were able to shake their hands and do that. It was such a powerful experience I can't even describe. And I was able to gain a lot of insight. I think that was the first time I fully felt comfortable and at home at the temple. It was really exciting and a relieving feeling. The whole day was wonderful though.
Your right about Vern it is sad, but that's what we told him also, family is important and don't want to do anything that would get in the way or break things up. It is sad how much that happens out here. Thank you for what you said about Megan, you helped me think of some new things that we can talk about with her! There probably are some humbling times that will need to take place and faith strengthening experiences as well. Thank you so much for sharing your testimony in your email. I always love to hear your testimonies and your experiences it helps me so much! I love you and I hope all continues to go well for you! I hope you have a great week! Love, Leslie
