Father's Day Wii

We all decided that it was time to upgrade our ORIGINAL nintendo from the 1980's. So we planned to buy Mike a Nintendo Wii for Father's Day and Birthday present, (since his birthday is 2 days after Father's Day) Leslie and I set out one Monday morning to find one. We started at our local Target store and the sales lady laughed at me when I asked to buy one! She said that they rarely have any in stock. So Leslie and I hit 4 other stores with pretty much the same reaction from sales people.

We came home and I looked online and found it at Target.com. Two days later it was delivered to the house, but, guess who found the box on the porch! Thank goodness he wasn't too nosey and did not look at the shipping label that said what was in the box! I quickly hid the box so he wouldn't find it.

So anyway, yesterday we had one of Mike's favorite dinners and then he opened it and had a little boy grin of excitement. We got it all set up to play and had a great time with it last night. It really does give you a workout if you put some effort into it. My arm hurts from bowling and playing tennis.
